This refresher session, led jointly by OPERA and ECOP Africa Node representatives is to reintroduce OPERA, highlight current engagement opportunities and the partnership with ICMPA - UNESCO Chair of the University of Abomey-Calavi and the Gulf of Guinea Ocean Sciences Summer School, and provide guidance on how ECOP Africa Node members can stay involved with the project. It will serve as an information session additionally to update on Africa-related OOC events where ECOP members may connect with the OPERA team and broader African Ocean Forecasting community.
