Mélinda is a PhD candidate at Cardiff University (UK), researching past sea-level reconstructions. She is Co-coordinator of the ECOP Portugal node and actively engaged in ocean literacy. She is the founder of the Resilient Oceans project, part of the Blue Thread initiative (IOC UNESCO).
