The 2026 All-Atlantic Ocean Research and Innovation Alliance (AAORIA) Forum will take place on 15–16 April 2026 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, hosted by the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and SENAI CIMATEC. As the Alliance’s flagship annual event, the Forum will bring together the Atlantic Community to strengthen international cooperation in ocean research and innovation. A strong focus will be placed on ocean prediction, highlighting the role of coordinated ocean observations, modelling, forecasting and digital ocean technologies in supporting climate resilience, sustainable ocean management and informed decision-making across the Atlantic basin.
