Joaquín Tintoré is Director of the Spanish Large-Scale Infrastructure SOCIB, the Balearic Islands Coastal Ocean Observing System, a multi-platform ocean observing and forecasting infrastructure that is co-leading the development of regional digital twins of the ocean fit for purpose to society and stakeholders needs and decision support.
